Available for both Travel and Non-Travel programs! (5-year-old program only available in fall season.)
We will need more coaches for these seasons, so please volunteer to coach if you are able to help!!

FALL TRAVEL TRYOUT INFO:
*Team grades are for the grade the player will be going into in the Fall.
*Try-out for the team of your grade this fall, NOT the team that you played this past Spring or Fall
*Players are encouraged to attend both tryout dates. One is required. If you cannot make either, it is YOUR responsibility to inform the coach or WYSA so other arrangements can be made.
*Meet at the complex flagpole with ball, water, and shin guards
*WYSA is playing in the URSL which is mostly Hagerstown/Frederick areas.
*ALL players MUST be registered for the Fall 2025 season BEFORE coming to tryouts!
(Full payment is NOT required before tryouts, but must be paid in full prior to the 1st game! If transferred back to rec, refunds will be issued for the difference already paid.)

Why try-out for the travel soccer teams?
If your son or daughter was one of the better players on their U8 or U11 team, you should consider trying out for the travel team program. Especially, if your coach mentions that they should try out.
Travel is not a big commitment thing. Practices are twice a week at the complex. Half the games are at home. The rest of the schedule will be at a field in the Hagerstown/Frederick area. The home games are Saturday afternoon and away games could be any time on Saturday. Occasionally, there are Sunday afternoon games.
The advantages for your player are that they will be playing with the better players in their age group. The coach can try to get them to a higher level of play because he is working with all experienced players. The competitions that they will be playing against will also be better which in turn will make our team better.
The coach of the travel team will have more experience, for the most part, than the in-house coach.
Disadvantages are the try-out experience. Not everyone makes it.
Travel is a little more expensive.
You cannot pick what day you want to practice. The coach will determine what fits in their schedule.
If soccer is going to be your sport - travel team is the way to go.
We are trying to put together 3rd/4th grade boys and girls teams, 5th/6th grade boys and girls teams, 7th/8th grade boys and girls teams. Even if your player MIGHT be interested, come try out and see how it goes!

Annual Soccer Camp:
This camp is for players 7-14 years old with at least one season of experience & are ready to work on skills to improve their play.
WHEN: July 21 - 24, 2025 from 8:30-11:30 am. (Rain makeup day Friday July 25, 2025)
COST: $70.00 per player which will include a camp t-shirt.
Camp for NEW & BEGINNING PLAYERS:
This camp is for players going into 1st, 2nd, or 3rd grade who are new to soccer, or beginning players.
WHEN: July 28 - 30, 2025 from 8:30-10:30 am. (Rain makeup day Thursday July 31, 2025)
COST: $35.00 per player which will include a camp t-shirt.
To register your player: Log in or create a family account at www.waynesborosoccer.org, then add each player’s information.
It will automatically show you what programs are available for their age. Our registration is done completely online.

Non-Travel (Recreational): 5 – 14 years old as of December 31, 2025 *
Travel: Fall 2025 –– 8 to 14 years old as of December 31, 2025
Spring 2026 –– 8 to 18 years old as of December 31, 2025
(Team eligibility is dependent upon enough like-age players registered to form a proper team. Example–we will not put 8-year-olds on a U15 team)

Family Registration Discount: Full cost for the first player, $5.00 less for each additional family member.
Financial Assistance is available during the online registration process. All requests are kept confidential. Must complete all questions to be considered.
Uniforms: Recreational Players: Provided to you and are kept by the player.
Travel Players: Each family is responsible for ordering their player’s uniforms. Info will be emailed to you when rosters are finalized.
Info Needed ASAP: Copy of birth certificate & a front face photo for all new players will need to be sent to
[email protected] (.jpg only!) as soon as possible to complete registration.
